Mohawk Park Tennis Club (MPTC) has traditionally been a community based two court outdoor tennis facility, run by volunteers and affiliated with the City of Mississauga for over 30 years. In 2007, MPTC incorporated as a not for profit to forge new partnerships and formed a new executive. The executive board and volunteers strive to increase membership while providing affordable memberships and programs for all levels, ages and socio-economic groups. By encouraging activity and participation, a healthier lifestyle is promoted and positively impacts the economics of the healthcare system as well as the community. MPTC welcomes returning and new members to the club to enjoy the brand new tennis courts that were funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The executive's mandate is to raise funds to maintain the upgraded facility, create new partnerships and attract a wider base of community residents to enjoy the sport of tennis and its ensuing benefits.
Mohawk Park Tennis Club provides affordable membership and alternative fitness solutions for all ages and abilities to help develop a holistic and healthy lifestyle through community spirit and tennis.
Mohawk Park Tennis Club is offering some FREE and low fee tennis programming and fitness programs delivered outdoors and indoors in 2021-2022.
